Yosemite Renaissance is a non-profit organization responsible for the annual Yosemite Renaissance Competition / Exhibition.  The exhibition is intended to encourage diverse artistic interpretations of Yosemite and the Sierra.  Its goal is to encourage serious contemporary artists to create works of art that reflect a modern interpretation of Yosemite and the state of the environment. 
 
    Entries are now being accepted for Yosemite Renaissance 14.  Entries are due by October 24, 1998.

Yosemite Renaissance also administers the Yosemite Artists-in Residence program which offers opportunities for established artists to live and work in the park. Yosemite Renaissance is a non-profit corporation,  funded in part by Mariposa County Board of Supervisors and Yosemite Concession Services.  Exhibition space, and technical services courtesy of the National Park Service.
