Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth Williams is a teacher, printmaker, and painter with a manic drive to create. Elizabeth works in a variety of media, creating images that combine mythological and folkloric themes with personal experience.  Her images are narrative in nature, and surreal in their portrayal of emotionally charged dreamlike moments.  Her style is influenced by the simplified rendering and informal technique of outsider art, reminding the viewer of early American folk art.  Her work is in great demand, and at this years show was quickly sold out.  Elizabeth creates a wide range of imagery from serious and contemplative, to humorous and truly bizarre.  Elizabeth's prices are very reasonable, and she offers a wide enough price range that there is usually something to fit any budget.  If you attend Open Studios next year  make sure to get there early if you want a piece of her work for your own!
