Updated version 1.2b-demo: allows limited play, only a portion of the game can be completed. A problem with hangs when going into a vortex has also been corrected.

This program requires a Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or compatable operating system. The download file (sm1inst.exe) is a self extracting file. After running it, then use the setup.exe file to install the game.
This demo version is fully functional but limits the amount of player resources. This means that the game can not be taken to completion with the demo version. You may get additional resources from planets only in one area of the galaxy, the other 9 galaxy areas have no planets. In the full version of the game all galaxy areas have planets with energy reserves. In addition some animated sequences and other special features are available only in the full version.
The 32 bit version of this game has been delayed due to other priorities. Stay tuned here for updates on this.
